Meet Ben Baldwin

Mental Health Counseling Student Intern

Ben approaches therapy with the belief that healing often starts when we’re willing to explore the parts of our lives that feel painful, confusing, or unresolved. He specializes in working with individuals navigating life transitions—those seasons when what used to work no longer does, and what’s next isn’t clear yet. Whether the transition involves relationships, identity, career, faith or something else, Ben helps clients explore these shifts with honesty, curiosity, and calm. He is deeply passionate about working with those navigating spiritual wounds or religious trauma, providing a steady presence for clients to reimagine their relationship with faith, meaning, and identity. Whether you're deconstructing long-held beliefs or rediscovering a sense of belonging, Ben offers space to ask hard questions without fear of judgment.

Ben’s style is warm, grounded, and practical. He invites clients to explore their lives not as problems to be fixed, but as stories to be understood. He believes that even the parts of our lives that feel fractured can reveal strength and meaning.

Ben draws from Attachment Theory, Developmental Psychology, and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), using a psychodynamic lens to explore how early relationships and experiences shape our present. His approach integrates insight and practical tools, helping clients move forward while understanding the deeper patterns that influence their lives.

Before becoming a therapist, Ben spent over a decade in the corporate world and currently serves in nonprofit leadership. He understands the tension of balancing work, purpose, and family, including the stress that can come from being pulled in multiple directions. As a husband of 13 years and father of three, Ben brings lived experience, steady presence, and a deep respect for the complexity of life.

“I’ve found that when we’re willing to face what’s hard, we often discover new strength, clarity, and connection,” Ben says. “You don’t have to navigate that process alone.”

Ben is a Student Intern at Evergreen Therapy PLLC, currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CMHC) at Richmont Graduate University and working under supervision.
