Meet Luke Stubbs
Mental Health Counselor
Luke began his work in the mental health field out of a deep curiosity about the human experience and a desire to help others navigate mental wellness amidst the complexities of modern life. Through his own mental health journey and education background, he has cultivated a practice that emphasizes helping individuals gain awareness, acceptance, and a sense of agency in their own life story. Luke graduated with a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Richmont Graduate University and is currently a pre-licensed therapist. He specializes in helping individuals 14 and older who are struggling with issues related to OCD, anxiety, mood disorders, and low self-esteem. Additionally, he has experience and passion for working with clients with more severe and complex mental health concerns.
With a deep dedication to creating spaces where clients can slow down and rediscover their own inner wisdom, Luke helps individuals explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors with compassion and curiosity to allow for greater awareness and a renewed sense of direction. His therapeutic approach is informed by evidence-based practices and rooted in an integrative approach that includes Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and psychodynamic therapy.
On a personal note:
Outside of his practice, Luke enjoys spending his time cycling, running, hiking, and playing and listening to music. Some of Luke's favorite weekend activities include spending time with friends, going on a long bike ride, or cuddling with his cat.
